“A person’s smile can leave a lasting first impression, so it’s rewarding to be able to give someone that confidence,” says Dr. Emily Stevens, a new dentist at Adventist Medical Office – Hanford Dental.

Dr. Stevens, of Bakersfield, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and on the Dean’s List.

Before arriving to Adventist Health, she was a student at dental clinics in Redlands and Loma Linda, Calif. In 2015 and 2017, she participated in mission trips to Honduras and St. Vincent, where she offered dental care to communities.

“By shadowing my own dentist and through my own dental experience, I was able to see where dental technology is headed and the possibilities excited me,” says Dr. Stevens.

She’s been married for 4 months and enjoys horseback riding, camping and fishing.

To make an appointment with Dr. Stevens, please call Adventist Health Medical Office – Hanford Dental, 1025 N. Douty St., at 559-537-0220.
