Adventist physician Christopher Verioti honored for his work on the sidelines

Dr. Christopher Verioti, sports medicine orthopedic surgeon for Adventist Health Physicians Network Hanford, was honored during the 51st annual Tulare-Kings All-Star Football game in Visalia on June 23.

He was recognized by the Visalia Optimist Club and Kiwanis Club of Lemoore for his dedicated service of providing professional medical coverage at the game.

Dr. Verioti and Adventist Health Physical Therapy began a Sports Medicine Program in partnership with local high schools, last year. He and three Adventist Health athletic trainers who are based at Hanford High, Hanford West and Sierra Pacific, provide support on the sidelines during local sporting events as well as other services.
