There were plenty of fireworks throughout Kings County Wednesday night, from neighborhood sparklers to full-throated nighttime displays that lit up the sky for miles, the largest, of course, the annual Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino.
Thousands migrated to the Santa Rosa Rancheria to view the massive display, some of which could be seen from miles away. The fund began early, at 6 p.m. with live music. Spectators gathered on the hotel premises, and some brought lawn chairs and blankets before the fun started with about a 30-minutes show at about 9 p.m. Naval Air Station Lemoore hosted fireworks at the base’s fitness center football field. Navy folks were treated to a beer garden, games and live music by the Valley Cats.
The Kings Fair hosted a show from 5-10 p.m. with live music, a beer and wine garden, fun for the kids, food vendors and more.
