Comedian, actor, singer and writer Rodney Carrington to perform at the Palace Oct. 4

Multi-talented comedian, actor, singer and writer, Rodney Carrington will perform at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino on Thursday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the bingo hall.

Carrington has been on the comedy scene since 1998 when he had his breakthrough CD, Hangin’ With Rodney, which consisted of both standup comedy and original songs. Since then, he has released nine more albums, including Morning Wood, his first Top 20 album and first certified Gold album, and Laughter’s Good, a number one hit on the Billboard Comedy Charts. His 2004 Greatest Hits peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Comedy Charts and No. 11 on the Billboard Country Charts.

For two seasons he starred in his own ABC TV sitcom, Rodney, and he also co-wrote and co-starred with Toby Keith in the 2008 feature film, Beer for My Horses. Carrington won “Supporting Character of the Year” from the CMT Music Video Awards for his appearance on Trace Adkins’ music video, “I Got My Game On.”

Tickets for Rodney Carrington are on sale starting Friday, July 27 and are available online at TachiPalace.com or the Hotel Gift Shop.  Tickets start at $40 per person. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
