Music, steak and lobster, good friends, and fun at Lemoore's Vineyard Restaurant
As soon as the event officially began at 5 p.m. eager diners - more than 100 of them - packed the longtime, favorite restaurant as nearly all of them took advantage of the $39 per person price tag. The restaurant served about 90 steak and lobster dinners that night, and judging by the number of empty plates and vacated lobster shells, the steak and lobster dinners went fast.
Diners enjoyed music with their dinner from musicians like Tim Mattos and Wendell Miller and had their choices of wines and drinks.
"We've been really trying to give the people of Lemoore what they've been asking for," said Jones, who has owned and operated the Vineyard for more than 20 years. "We're trying to have entertainment as often as possible, have special events and creating new dinner specials on the weekends to give some new and delicious options so everyone doesn't have to go to neighboring towns to enjoy great food, have a good time and to help keep as much revenue as possible right here in Lemoore."
Jones said she likes to think the restaurant is more than just another place to eat or just another business. "Our family takes pride in using our livelihood to be a community partner and contribute to the way of life in Lemoore. The best part is that along the way we make some really good food and have made a lot of lifelong friends that we consider part of our family."
The Vineyard Restaurant is located at 819 E. Bush Street and the intersection of Bush and West D Street. It offers a wide range of comfort food, outdoor seating, and a full bar. Diners always can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere surrounded by murals and an occasional mix of live music.
The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Breakfast is served all day.
