The Lemoore Lions welcomed about 1,000 beer enthusiasts to their annual Brewfest Saturday night at Lemoore Lions Park. The local club sold about 1,000 tickets for the perennial event, a Lemoore staple since about 2008.
Much of the money raised for the annual “Fest” will go to local charities and organizations.
Local patrons, had their fill of local brews and food, including the perennial corn-on-the-cob. There were also games and activities enjoyed by local participants. The event ran from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Lemoore Lions are one of Lemoore’s oldest organizations, having been founded in 1049. Its mission is to provide services to the blind and sight-impaired, as well as improved the community.
