Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino opens newest restaurant in third floor Casino of the Moon
Tribal and casino executives held a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening its newest restaurant, Pho-Nominal Eats, an Asian-inspired eatery that opened to the public on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
This new Asian-inspired concept offers traditional, high-quality ethnic food in a casual setting. The menu features treats from Asia including PHO noodle soups, teriyaki bowls, and Vietnamese rolls.
The new restaurant will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Starting Wednesday, September 11. The hours are Sunday through Thursday from 12 noon to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, noon to midnight.
Pho-Nominal Eats is one of seven dining options at Tachi Palace including the award-winning Pork Chop Hill Buffett, Coyote Grill, The Coffee Stop, RezDogs, Pizza Hut Express, and Red Tail Hawk Stop.
Tachi Palace General Manager Michael Olujic brought members of the Tribal Council together for an official ribbon cutting and said there are plans for many new improvements. “This is the first of many,” he said. “This was a collaborative effort of the whole team.”
A sizeable crowd, which included a dozen or so members of the Tachi “Hoops” program, were also on hand to help celebrate the restaurant’s opening. The Tachi students often perform at community events and celebrate the Tachi culture.
