Naval Air Station Lemoore will host one of the San Joaquin Valley’s biggest events as the NAS Lemoore Central Valley Air Show returns to the Valley's massive military installation Sept. 21-22.

The response could be massive crowds as is the case with all air shows held at the local navy base. According to its Facebook posting, nearly 10,000 persons have already expressed an interest in the event.

The Navy has confirmed that the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s premier flight demonstration team, will be the weekend’s top attraction. Other attractions – War Dog Aerobatic Demonstration Team, other demonstration teams, civilian flight acts, and static displays – will also play key roles in this year’s air show.

General admission and parking to the NAS Lemoore Air Show are free. However, if you’re looking for good seats and an “upgraded” air show experience, interested parties can purchase Flight Line Club tickets featuring front-line seating in spacious exclusive viewing areas. A catered, buffet-style lunch is available as well as unlimited water and soft drinks.

There are also shaded areas available and private restrooms. Adult tickets are $135 while children (4-12) are $85 and 3-years-old and under are free.

Premium box seats – located directly on the flight line – are also available for $30.
