Santa and the 'Missus' on hand as Anthem Blue Cross presents check to Kings County Library in Lemoore

The Kings County Library and its Lemoore branch on Wednesday, Dec. 4, received an early Christmas gift from Santa Claus in the form of a $5,000 dollar check from Anthem Blue Cross.

Both Santa and his spouse, were present Wednesday for the check presentation.

Selina Escobar, from Anthem Blue Cross Medical, presented Wilma Humason, a representative of the Friends of the Kings County Library, the check during the Lemoore Library’s annual Winter Open House.

The gift will be used to augment the 2020 Children’s Summer Reading Program.
