Graduation becomes a family affair for Lemoore's Toomey family in 2014

It will have been a busy couple of weeks for Lemoore’s Toomey family, and no doubt family members may be tiring of hearing endless renditions of “Pomp and Circumstance.” Three members of the Toomey family, by June 5, will have donned cap and gowns to celebrate a graduation.

Regina Toomey, the mother of the brood, graduated Thursday, May 22 from West Hills College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts, and she was quickly followed by daughter Kelli, a Lemoore alum who graduated on Saturday from San Francisco State University with a BS in Kinesiology.

Finally, son Kirby will wear the purple cap and gowns of Lemoore High School when he goes through commencement ceremonies on Thursday, July 5. Kirby will attend U.C. Santa Barbara in the fall.
