Farmers Market and Rockin' the Arbor dominate Lemoore downtown scene

It wasn't quite wall-to-wall people in downtown Lemoore but Lemoore's downtown, and the depot across from the Lemoore Stadium Cinemas, were indeed fill with Lemoore residents looking to beat the heat, maybe sip a cool beverage, visit a number of vendors, purchase some fresh fruit and vegetables, and listen to some good music. And that's just what occurred Friday night.

While the Farmers' Market has been in progress for several weeks, Lemoore's Rockin' the Arbor held its first concert of the season Friday night and judging by the turnout, it was obviously a big success. The Rockin' the Arbor is sponsored by the Lemoore District Chamber of Commerce while the Lemoore Downtown Merchants host the Farmers' Market.

Rockin' the Arbor will continue every Friday until August 29 and will feature a variety of local bands.

  • It was a good turnout for the first Rockin' the Arbor Friday night. These people heard the band August. The event will continue every Friday until August 29.
