The Lemoore Police Department is circulating a sketch in hopes that someone might recognize the suspect who sexually assaulted a Lemoore woman in her home last month. On September 2 Lemoore detectives arranged for the victim to meet with a sketch artist from the San Jose Police Department and based on the description provided by the victim, came up with a composite of the suspect.

It was on the evening of Saturday, August 9, that Lemoore Police Officers responded to a report of a rape in the northwest area of Lemoore. Upon arrival Officers were told by the 32-year-old female victim that she answered a knock at the front door and was contacted by the suspect asking for a glass of water.

When the victim turned to get the water the suspect pushed his way past the screen door and into the house.

The suspect then pushed the victim to the floor and proceeded to sexually assault the victim. After the assault the suspect told the victim not call or tell anyone or he would hurt her.

The victim described the suspect as a white-male adult, approximately 35 years old, 5-10, 170-180 pounds and average build. The suspect had short brown hair, a brown mustache and wore a black-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black work boots and thin leather black gloves.
