Photo gallery: Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department gets the local Christmas spirit started with raising of downtown tree

In addition to providing the City of Lemoore with efficient, timely fire services, the Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department also sets the annual tone for the start of the Christmas season. Once again, as it has done for decades, the local volunteers raised the annual Christmas tree at the intersection of Fox and D streets.
A small crowd braved rains to come out to see the raising of the tree. It was all part of a day designed for locals and their kids. Also available was a petting zoo, bounce house and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus.
