Spring semester starts Monday for West Hills College students

Faculty and staff were welcomed back to West Hills Community College District by the college presidents and Chancellor Frank Gornick last week to prepare for the arrival of students as classes begin Monday for the spring semester.

More than 5,700 students are enrolled district wide for the semester, including those enrolled at dual campuses. West Hills College Coalinga has more than 2,650 students enrolled and West Hills College Lemoore has more than 4,070.

Online enrollment continues to grow with more than 2,600 students taking online classes this spring compared to 2,500 last semester.

Students still planning to enroll have until the end of the day Sunday, Jan. 18, to search for open classes and sign up at westhillscollege.com.
