Congratulations to the parents of baby Evalynn, who is Kings County’s first baby of 2016. The newly born infant, named Evalynn, was born at 5:35 a.m. on January 1, 2016. She weighed in 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 19 ½ inches in length.

“It’s very exciting to have a baby born on New Year’s,” her mother says. “Her birthday will be celebrated by everyone!”

Evalynn is among the last New Year’s Day babies born at Central Valley General Hospital, since Adventist Health is moving to the new Family Birth Center in early March 2016.
