Board certified specialist in allergies, asthma has joined Adventist Health

Dr. Duriseti brings 35 years of experience and expertise to evaluate and provide the latest advances in managing a broad spectrum of diseases, such as nasal conditions, sinus allergies with congestion, headaches and recurring infections, breathing difficulties with asthma and recurring bronchitis. She also cares for patients suffering from food allergies, recurring hives, stings, insect bites, drug allergies and allergic emergencies with swelling.

“Educating patients, identifying underlying causes and selecting optimal care individualized to a patient’s needs are crucial to improve a person’s quality of life,” she says.

Dr. Duriseti has served patients in Hanford and physicians within the past two years. She was part of a private practice in South Orange County and promoted patient education in conjunction with the American Lung Association, Allergy Asthma Foundation of America and Food Allergy Foundation of America.

She completed her specialty training at University of California at Irvine, where she continued her teaching affiliation. She also served on the teaching faculty at University of Chicago Hospitals Clinics, La Rabida Asthma Research Center and Wyler Children’s Hospital and as co-director of the emergency room.

She completed her internship, residency and Chief Residency at University of Chicago Hospitals after earning a doctorate in medicine from Andhra Medical College in Vizag, India.

Dr. Duriseti and her husband have volunteered for many years in India and in the United States in association with a global service organization. In addition to volunteering, she enjoys singing, dancing, reading and traveling.

She speaks two Indian languages, Telugu and Hindi, in addition to English.
