City of Lemoore seeks applicants for city commissions, boards
The Downtown Merchants Advisory Committee has four anticipated vacancies. The Committee provides recommendations to the City Council regarding expenditures of the Parking and Business Improvement Area (PBIA) Fund. Such expenditures may include Downtown music, street light banners, decorative refuse cans, benches, curbside planter boxes, promotional materials, holding promotional events such as the Kings County Homecoming (Lemoore Night), Holiday Stroll, street parties, Farmers markets, and other events as determined by the Committee to benefit the Downtown area.
The Lemoore Planning Commission has one anticipated vacancy. The Commission develops policies and development standards for the City and makes recommendations to the City Council.
The Lemoore Parks and Recreation Commission has five anticipated vacancies. The Lemoore Parks and Recreation Commission advises the City Council on issues regarding the development, improvement, activities and maintenance of the city’s parks, buildings, and recreation programs.
