Lemoore High School can produce some talented vocalists. It was announced this week that the school’s choir program was honored when longtime members Serena Mendoza, Jarred Crisp, and Annemarie Schalde all qualified, after a rigorous audition, for spots in the Central Regional Honor Choir, the largest for ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) organization).

Mendoza was specifically honored as an ACDA scholarship recipient.

The Lemoore singers performed at the University of the Pacific recently.  Mendoza and Crisp advanced into the ACDA California All-State Honor Choir.  They will work under a guest conductor for three days and perform with the best of the best high school singers in San Jose in February, 2017.

The trio recently performed, along with the entire Lemoore High School choir, at the annual Winter Concert Wednesday (Dec. 7). They didn’t slow down either, performing the next day during their “Holiday Tour” consisting of a full day of singing.

The choir performed for 30-40 minutes at each venue. Stops included The Remington in Hanford, Valley Christian Home, First United Methodist Church, and MIQ School.
