Tigers at Golden West Friday in bid to remain unbeaten in demanding WYL

Lemoore's varsity boys' basketball team is on a roll as it challenges for the West Yosemite League title. The Tigers edged El Diamante on Wednednesay 53-51 to improve to 2-0 in the WYL and 11-4 overall.

The Tigers hope to continue the winning streak Friday night when they travel to Visalia for a matchup with Golden West at 7:30 p.m. The Blazers are struggling with a 7-12 record and a 0-2 mark in the WYL.
Lemoore also has a matchup with Mt. Whitney in a game scheduled for Jan. 15, again in Visalia. The Pioneers could be the Tigers' biggest test of the season as they bring an impressive 17-2 record into Tuesday's game. The Pioneers are also 2-0 in the WYL.
