Lemoore police officers, responding to a theft that occurred at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at Hanford’s Home Depot, were led on about a 20-minute pursuit that ended with the arrest of two women and a man. A male passenger in the front seat managed to elude police officers.

A Lemoore police officer was injured during a single-vehicle collision. He was transported to a local hospital and later released with minor injuries.

It was early Monday afternoon when the Lemoore Police Department was advised of the theft. A witness provided a license plate for the suspects’ stolen vehicle, determined to have been stolen in Visalia. Lemoore officers observed the vehicle driving westbound on State Route 198 at 19th Ave. Officers got behind the car, attempting to force a traffic stop. The driver failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued. The driver continued towards the West Hills College area, resulting in a lockdown.
