Just a few weeks after thrilling San Joaquin Valley and Lemoore flight enthusiasts, the United States Navy and it's premier flight demonstration team, The Blue Angels, provided more fireworks when the sleek jets made dramatic appearances during San Francisco’s annual Fleet Week.
The annual event (Oct. 7-14) held between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, is always headlined by The U.S. Navy Blue Angels. San Francisco’s Fleet Week included, in addition to two appearances by the Angels, a parade of ships, a national anthem flag jump, the U.S. Navy Parachute Team, an appearance by the Navy’s newest jet fighter, the F-25 (and a P-51 Mustang Warbird), and more.
The Blue Angels also took to the skies on Thursday, putting their FA-18 Hornets through a practice session that thrilled flight enthusiasts.
