The Leprino Foods plant in question is located in the 300 blocks of Belle Haven Dr. in Lemoore. Leprino Foods has two large facilities in Lemoore.
Leprino Foods officials say the source of the theft was unknown for some time. Lemoore detectives determined that the stolen product was being sold in Fresno, Tulare, and Kings counties. Some cheese was apparently sold in Riverside County. According to Lemoore police investigators, Leprino’s product was being sold through different social media sites, door to door at residences, on the street, and in various flea markets throughout the state.

Multiple subjects were identified as being involved in the sale of the product. Detectives served several search warrants in Tulare County and Kings County. The search warrants identified the subjects involved and a large amount of stolen product was recovered.
Jairo Mariano Osorio Alvarez (24) of Lemoore was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail for being in possession of the stolen property. The investigation further revealed the theft was occurring from an internal source. Roderick Domingo Ransom (34) of Lemoore was arrested on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019. He was booked at the Kings County Jail for grand theft and embezzlement. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Cpl. Maldonado at (559)924-9574.
