All over the state, Californians have come together to meet the moment of the COVID-19 pandemic. From volunteers at local food banks, teleteaching in our schools and the incredible dedication of essential workers like healthcare heroes, first responders, farmers and farmworkers, Californians have shown that we will overcome these challenging times by working together as a community.

I am continuing to work with local health departments, nonprofits, schools, & small businesses to ensure that our community is informed & has access to the latest resources & assistance programs. There is new information & resources regarding free COVID-19 testing sites & Kings County's reopening guidelines that I wanted to share with you.

COVID-19 Testing Sites

There is now a free COVID-19 testing site in Hanford. Learn more and make an appointment here. To locate other free testing sites in the Valley, visit the state's testing map

Kings County Reopening

Californian's efforts to protect our elderly & medically vulnerable by staying home during this pandemic have allowed the state to move forward with a roadmap for reopening.

Kings County has been approved for Stage 2 reopening, where low-risk businesses like retail, restaurants, shopping centers, and other select industries can open after meeting county health criteria. Additional guidelines have also been created for salons, barbershops and places of worship to reopen. These can be found below.
