West Hills College offers $250 to fully vaccinated students planning to attend fall semester

The West Hills College District is taking steps to make its campuses to be as safe as possible and has decided to offer fully vaccinated West Hills students $250. To be eligible West Hills College students must be registered in the WHC district in the fall, 2021 semester and upload proof of their vaccination to the West Hills Safe App no later than November 1.

The West Hills Safe App is designed to help the district manage daily COVID-19 health screening and contact tracing, and to be eligible for the $250, students must upload their COVID-19 vaccine information through the app.

West Hills has partnered with Aria Health and the Kings County Department of Health and has scheduled vaccine clinics open to students, employees, and the public.

The following clinics have been scheduled:

West Hills College Coalinga

West Hills College Lemoore

  • Monday, August 16 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Golden Eagle Arena (click here to sign up for the vaccine clinic at WHCL)  (Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer are available). 
  • Tuesday, August 17, and September 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.-4 p.m. in Parking Lot K. No sign-up needed--walk-ups welcome. The mobile clinic will be providing Pfizer for ages 12 up. Students under 18 will need parental/guardian permission, though verbal consent via video call is acceptable. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will also be available. Free COVID-19 testing is also available.
