Lemoore Christian Aid (LCA) – and the people who visit the local charity – got sort of a late Christmas gift courtesy of Lemoore’s largest employer, Leprino Foods, a longtime mainstay in the local business community.

A quartet of Leprino officials, led by the company’s human resource director, Anna Nicks, presented the organization’s executive director, Nick Francu, and several members of the organization with a check amounting to $6,500, money that will go a long way in helping the folks who utilize the local charity located at 224 N. Lemoore Avenue.

Joining Leprino’s Nicks were company officials Larry Jones, a senior supervisor, Tom Christiansen, supervisor, and Celeste Corona, a Leprino administrative assistant.

“This money will help us purchase a lot of food,” said LCA’s Francu, who was on hand with several of LCA’s employees and volunteers when officials from Leprino presented the check on Thursday morning (Feb. 10).

Lemoore Christian Aid is located at 224 N. Lemoore Avenue and is generally open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The organization has been a mainstay in Lemoore for about 40 years and has assisted thousands of persons in the Lemoore area. It has also been an integral part of Lemoore’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
