There won’t be any playoffs for this year’s Tigers’ football team. Lemoore, after winning its first two games – against Clovis East and Chowchilla – dropped its next eight to spoil its chances of a playoff run. Sunday afternoon at the Lemoore Raceway saw Dan Myrick win the 25-lap Central Valley Mini Stock season finale, in the end beating out overall points leader Greg Baronian. He took charge following a lap-six caution flag, passing Baronian on the flag. But the talented Baronian stayed close, often running side by side laps with Myrick, and at one point late in the race led the 11th lap before Myrick again resumed command. Keep reading...
