LHS hoopsters don pink tint as they help raise funds for fight against breast cancer

Lemoore High School’s varsity boys’ basketball team and its Boys’ Basketball Booster Club is teaming with longtime teacher Lori Luna, a cancer survivor,  to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. The team has a “Pink Out” game  Tuesday, night, Jan. 29, against a familiar West Yosemite League foe, Golden West High School.

During their warmups, the squad will wear special-made pink shirts denoting their devotion to the cause of cancer research.

Boosters and others will also be present at the game with donation buckets for anyone who would like to donate that night. There is also a web site for donations, and it is easy to access:

All funding goes to the fight against breast cancer, research, detection methods, screening, and treatment.
