Two new therapists, Catherine Culver and Tanvi Jithendran, have joined the physical therapy team at Adventist Health / Central Valley Network. Jithendran is a speech therapist for both Adventist Medical Center – Hanford and the Adventist Health / Physical Therapy center in Hanford.

She earned a master’s degree in speech language pathology from California State University, Fresno. Before coming to Adventist Health, she worked with children at a middle school in San Mateo. She was inspired by her uncle to pursue this career. He was a speech therapist and a professor at California State University, Fresno.

Culver is the inpatient occupational therapist at Adventist Medical Center – Hanford. She will also see patients at Adventist Medical Center - Selma, helping them increase independence through self-care activities such as personal hygiene and dressing. She discovered she wanted to be an occupational therapist after taking her younger sister, who has special needs, to therapy sessions. She has a bachelor’s of science degree and a master’s in occupational therapy from the prestigious Loma Linda University.
