Fitness boot camps slated for West Hills College Lemoore

A new way to stay in shape will soon be offered through West Hills College Lemoore’s Community Education program.

Starting Oct. 1, personal trainer and WHCL student Kody Bush will teach two fitness boot camps on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from noon to 1 p.m. The camps cost $60 per month or $10 a session and will be offered in the Golden Eagle Arena aerobics room on the campus. The monthly fee covers all sessions offered during the month.

“I was interested in teaching this boot camp because it's time for a change,” Bush said. “We need quick easy workouts that no one can say they cannot do or they do not have enough time to do. They can expect a challenge, but a challenge that they can look in the mirror and say they overcame.”

These high-intensity workouts will emphasize cardio and strength training and are easily modified for individuals who are just getting started with their fitness plans.
