The Kings Regional Health Foundation is hosting its first Rockin’ Rudolph Run to support hospice and health care services in Kings, Tulare and Fresno counties. The 1-mile Kid’s Elf Run and costume contest begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5k Run/Walk begins at 8 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, in front of Superior Dairy, 325 N. Douty St. in Hanford.
Families are encouraged to attend and create a new Christmas-time tradition.
To register, visit www.RunHanford.com or sign-up at any Sole 2 Soul Sports store in Visalia or Fresno. The registration fee is $30 and includes a long-sleeve t-shirt and a Santa hat for adults who register before Dec. 1, Elf ears for kid’s entries made before Dec. 1, Christmas bells for cheer and an opportunity to take a photo with Santa. Teams may be created upon registration. The largest team will be rewarded by Santa himself! Race Day registration will be available for an additional $5 per entry.
All proceeds directly benefit services provided by Adventist Health / Central Valley Network and Hospice. Both not-for-profit entities provide spiritual, mental and physical healing and do not receive government funding.
