Lemoore Chamber offers program to develop future leaders

The Lemoore Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new program. In order for our community to achieve prosperity we must develop future leaders who will work to achieve the vision.
Thus, the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce is presenting the Candidate Workshop Series in order to empower potential future leaders and their campaign team members.

Each session is an opportunity for participants to be introduced to, and gain a working knowledge of the local political process. The series is non-partisan and informational only. Participants will learn what it takes to run an effective campaign.

Two Sessions will be held at the Lemoore Civic Auditorium, 435 C Street, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All participants need to register in advance to secure a seat. Limit 25 people. Cost is free for Chamber Members, $25 for non-members.

  • Session 1: Motivation and What to Expect will be on Tuesday, March 29, and will include topics such as: Why Run?, Nuts & Bolts of Running for Office, Today & Tomorrow's Local Challenges, and What it's Like to be an Elected Official.
  • Session 2: Road to Campaign Success will be on Tuesday, May 24, and will include topics such as: Campaign Team Roles & Responsibilities, Crafting & Delivering and Effective Message, Getting the Endorsement & Fundraising, and Working with the Media.
