It’s official. It must be Christmas. If not, why would Santa Claus be perched atop a Lemoore Fire Department truck with Mrs. Claus urging his reindeer to traverse downtown Lemoore’s D Street?
Undoubtedly this was but one of his first stops as he prepares to usher in the Christmas season.
Thousands of Lemoore residents and onlookers converged on the city’s downtown on a dark and misty Saturday night to view the latest rendition of the Lemoore Christmas Parade as about 100 floats, at least two school bands, colorful Shriners, and even a few cowboys offered their unique perspective on the city’s holiday tradition.
The colorful and popular parade is organized every year by the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce.
