The Kings Lions Club did it again. The active service club held yet another successful Brewfest Saturday night beneath clear skies, perfect temperatures, and friendly people.
Over 1,500 people attended the annual Brewfest Saturday night.
The club once again donated thousands to local organizations from the proceeds of the annual event. The crowd was treated to a variety of local beers and tasty food. Long lines remained persistent at the most popular food venues.
Once again the Kings Lions awarded a number of monetary donations including a $2,500 award to the Lemoore Recreation Department and $2,000 to scholarships for West Hills Middle College graduates. The Lions also donated $2,000 to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central California.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better day in June,” said Kings Lions President Ray Etchegoin. “It was the most pleasant day we’ve ever had, and the crowd was as great as ever. I’m really proud to be a part of a community that supports this fundraiser every year.”
