Visalia Runners and Kaweah Delta team up for annual Harvest Run

The Visalia Runners group and Kaweah Delta Health Care District will be holding its annual Harvest 5K Run and 3K Walk on Oct. 1 in Visalia. The Harvest Run is part of the Valley Running Series. The race begins on Saturday, Oct. 1 at The Lifestyle Center in Visalia, 5105 W. Cypress Ave.

The race Day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. The Half Mile Kids run starts at 7:45 a.m. The 5K and 3K walk starts at 8 a.m.

The run and walk is $25 if registered early. After Sept. 20 the price goes up to $35. The half mile run is $15.

Proceeds from the run raised through registration fees and donations are normally used to fund Christmas presents for families being treated by the Regional Cancer Center.
