Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department hosts Battle of Badges blood drive Nov. 8

Anyone interested in participating is invited to attend.

The Central California Blood Center is sponsoring several Battle of the Badges events, catering to public safety and government employees in Tulare and Kings Counties.

The College of the Sequoias Academy, located in Hanford will also host a blood event on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Academy located as 925 13th Ave. in Hanford. The Kings County Employees will hold their blood donation event the same day at the government center at 1400 Lacey Blvd. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Hanford Police Department holds its blood drive for Battle of the Badges on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Park, 400 N. Douty St. The Hanford Mall hosts an event on Nov. 5 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mall located at 1675 West Lacey Blvd.
