Lemoore residents get boost in patriotism with Friday's annual Veterans' Day Parade

An impressed throng of Lemoore residents and parade enthusiasts cheered the 2016 Veterans’ Day Parade Friday night in Lemoore. The event, sponsored by the Lemoore American Legion and the City of Lemoore’s Community Services Department, put on an impressive display of patriotism as the annual parade featured marching bands, youth groups, the Lemoore High School NJ ROTC, and members of the U.S. Navy.

A couple of thousand lined downtown Lemoore’s D Street as the parade started exactly on time on a perfect November evening. Leading the way, as usual, was the impressive flag display brought by the Hanford Elks organization.
