The Fall 2016 issue of West Hills Magazine is now available online. The seventh issue of the magazine focuses on the constant innovation within the West Hills Community College District and the many improvements and initiatives WHCCD has embraced over the past few years.
This 28-page issue of the magazine features a look at everything from West Hills College Lemoore’s new student union to the district’s website redesign.
Also featured is the story of two families who have had members attending West Hills College Coalinga and West Hills College Lemoore for generations. The story looks at how, for them, West Hills College is a family affair.
The issue also looks at summer camps at West Hills College Coalinga, this year’s West Hills College Coalinga Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, and recent partnerships with Avenal and Riverdale school districts to build state of the art science camps on their campuses.
College initiatives including the Reg365 registration program and the goal of replacing textbooks with digital materials by the year 2020 are also profiled as well as the recent accreditation process West Hills College has gone through.
The magazine is available online on the district’s website at http://tinyurl.com/whmfall2016. The online version includes an option to download a PDF copy of the magazine.
Printed copies will be mailed to donors and friends of WHCCD. Printed copies will also be available on each campus and at the district office, local chambers of commerce, and libraries.
