Memorial Day activities in Lemoore and Kings County

In Lemoore, the Fleet Reserve Association and American Legion Post 100 along with local Boy Scouts, will host a Memorial Day Service at 10 a.m. in the Lemoore Cemetery. After the service, a barbecue will be held at the Fleet Reserve, located at 788 East D St. The cost is $5 per person.

In Armona, the Marine Corps League Post will honor the National Guard’s 185th Infantry Regiment on Monday. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at the Grangeville Cemetery, located at 10428 14th Avenue in Armona.

In Laton, the Oak Grove Cemetery will host the annual Memorial Day services and barbecue on Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. This year’s program will honor Vietnam veterans Oak Grove cemetery is located at 19811 Cedar St.
