The Lemoore Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking applicants for the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer.  The Interim CEO is a full time, paid position which will last through the end of August 2017, at which time a search for the permanent position will be made by the Selection Committee.

Summary

The Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce is responsible to the Board of Directors for a wide range of activities, including but not limited to: organizational structure and procedures; motivation of volunteers; income and expenses; maintenance of membership; employment, training and supervision of staff; interpretation of policy and strategic direction/planning;  providing leadership and continuity to members, volunteers, and staff while carrying out its mission and goals; as well as the overall operations of the Chamber within approved Chamber policies, business plan, and budget. The Interim CEO is classified as an exempt salaried employee. 

Qualifications

·    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.

·    Minimum of three years of leadership/management experience in a similarly related business or organization; prior Chamber leadership experience preferred.

·    Strong oral and written communication skills.

·    Demonstrated experience in program management, budgeting, expenditure control, and fundraising.

·    Demonstrated ability to initiate work/projects.

·    Highly organized with attention to follow up and follow through.

·    Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and cooperatively with others; positive attitude.

·    Marketing, sales and advocacy experience and ability.

·    Ability to understand many aspects of various businesses and industries.

·    Demonstrated ability to use office computer software, including Quick Books.
