New KART fees will rise beginning July 1, along with new day pass

KART has worked to keep bus fares constant for the last nine years. During that time, costs to operate bus service have risen due to inflation and increases in expenses. The increase will allow KART to continue meeting required legislative farebox recover ratio.

KART was formed in 1980 and services the Kings County area. KART has 18 routes and transports more than 700,000 passengers each year.
