The Kings Christian High School girls’ volleyball team is snaking its way through the Central Section Division 5 playoffs. On Tuesday the talented Crusaders beat Delano in 3-1 to advance to the third round.

Kings Christian is scheduled to play Hanford’s Sierra Pacific Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Kings Christian.

The Crusaders, with a 22-2-1 overall record and a 12-1 mark in the East Sierra League, is ranked No. 2 in the Central Section. Sierra Pacific is No. 3.

Kings Christian, assuming the Crusaders defeat Sierra Pacific, will play the winner of the No. ranked California City and Selma matchup in the Saturday championship game.
