Adventist Health Volunteers offer scholarships to Central Valley high school students

Adventist Health Volunteers are once again offering scholarships to deserving high school students in the Central Valley. The scholarships will be offered to high school seniors who would like to pursue a career in medicine, nursing or other healthcare fields.

  • Five $2,000 will be offered to seniors who live in Kings County and attend schools in the county.
  • Two $1,000 scholarships will be offered to seniors who live in Selma and Kingsburg and attend schools in those communities.
  • Five $500 scholarships will be offered to seniors who live in Reedley and the nearby communities of Dunlap and Orange Cove and attend school in those communities.

The scholarships are available to students who reside in their respective communities and attend either a public or private school.

Eligible students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and have plans to attend a two-year or four-year college or university.

Applications and full criteria are available at the school counseling office or administration offices.

Students applying for one of the scholarships offered to Reedley, Dunlap, Orange Cove, Selma or Kingsburg seniors must submit completed applications by noon on March 30, 2018.

Students applying for one of the scholarships offered to Kings County seniors must submit completed applications by April 6, 2018.
