Former 'Sha Na Na' singer to speak at Retired Americans and Congressional candidate event

The California Alliance for Retired Americans has scheduled a “Seniors Vote” gathering in which the Alliance has invited candidates running for Congress. The event will be held Tuesday, April 24 at the Hanford Fraternal Hall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Fraternal Hall is located at 1015 N. 10th Avenue in Hanford.

A special guest that day will be former “Sha Na Na” singer Jon “Bowzer” Bauman, who currently is president of Social Security Works, a Political Action Committee.

Organizers are asking that guests RSVP to 559-905-3521. Space is limited, and refreshments will be provided.
