Chamber of Commerce and friends welcome K+K Veterinary Services to Lemoore

The duo, both graduates of Arizona’s Midwestern University, where they earned doctorates in veterinary medicine (DVM), actually opened their new practice a few weeks ago. “Today is our first official day,” said McCrone as she welcomed visitors, conducted tours of the facility as visitors munched on sandwiches.
Lawton-Betchel, is a Lemoore native and attended Fresno Pacific University and U.C. Davis.
The facility is indeed impressive and has all the tools needed for a successful veterinary practice: reception area, operating rooms, a holding facility, x-ray facilities, ambulatory services and more.
“We will see all species, from cats and dogs to exotic,” said McCrone. “We help all creatures, big and small.”

Located at 377 Hill Street, K+K Veterinary Services is open five days a week. Appointments are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. “We’re fully staffed overnight for emergency services as well as weekends,” said McCrone.
Customers can schedule appointments by calling 559-997-1121 or emailing kkvetservices@gmail.com
“I’ve always loved animals ever since I was a child and I’ve always been one to want to fight for the underdog, and there is nothing more helpless than an animal hurt and in need,” said McCrone. “So, I’ve always been that one that was rescuing animals. In my adult life, I wanted to become a veterinarian, so that I could help those critters.”
Both McCrone and Lawton-Betchel are pleased to be in Lemoore. “I was a little concerned when I moved here, it being a small town, but everybody has been so welcoming,” said McCrone. “They’re so happy to have us here and so thankful for the services we have to offer. I couldn’t ask for a better community.”
