A large contingent of law enforcement members, members of the public, and others were on hand Wednesday morning (May 17) at the Kings County Government Center to pay their respects at the Annual Kings County Peace Officers’ Memorial.

A contingent of sailors from NAS Lemoore delivered a 21-gun salute to the fallen officers and cadets from the Kings-Tulare College of Sequoias Police Academy.

Several hundred people listened to speakers and delivered their respects to the list of newly fallen officers added to the roll call this past year from around state agencies.

This year’s keynote speaker was Kings County Superior Court Judge Michael Reinhart. Lemoore Police Volunteer Tracy Landrus played Taps.
