Valadao gets endorsement from Fresno, Bakersfield and U.S. chambers of commerce

The Fresno Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce formally announced their endorsement of Congressman David G. Valadao during a joint press conference in Fresno.
"The Fresno Chamber is happy to once again endorse David Valadao for Congress in California's 21st Congressional District," said Nathan Ahle, Fresno Chamber President, and CEO. "When it comes to important Valley issues like ag, energy, and water, David has always been a leader. He has worked in a bipartisan way to help shape policy that will protect and benefit our members and the Central Valley's economy. We support his re-election campaign and look forward to continuing to work with him to benefit our local economy."
Ahle went on to praise Valadao as a “steadfast advocate for the Central Valley, saying he is committed to finding solutions. Ahle said the business community appreciates his work on water, air quality, and infrastructure issues and look forward to working with the congressman in the future.
“We’re proud to be in the Central Valley alongside the Fresno and Bakersfield Chamber to put our full support behind David Valadao,” said Jennings Imel, Western Regional Manager for the US Chamber. “David represents what’s best about this district through his strong voting record to create jobs and growth, and through his roots as a dairy farmer. He’s leading the fight to improve our aging water infrastructure and to reform our broken immigration system."
Congressman David Valadao was pleased with the support. "As a small business owner,” he said, “I am extremely proud to receive not only the endorsement of the United States Chamber of Commerce but our local Chambers as well. Our local businesses are the backbone of our economy and allow Valley workers to provide for their families. I'm honored to receive their support today."
