Naval Air Station Lemoore will host one of the San Joaquin Valley’s biggest events as the NAS Lemoore Central Valley Air Show returns to the Valley's massive military installation later this year. This year’s air show is slated for Sept. 21 and 22 at the station’s flight line.

The response could be massive crowds as is the case with all air shows held at the local navy base. According to its Facebook posting, nearly 10,000 persons have already expressed an interest in the event.

The Navy has confirmed that the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s premier flight demonstration team, will be the weekend’s top attraction. Other attractions – War Dog Aerobatic Demonstration Team, other demonstration teams, civilian flight acts, and static displays – will also play key roles in this year’s air show.
