West Hills College Coalinga to host Fresno State President Dr. Joseph Castro on March 26

Castro will engage the community in a discussion and answer questions about Fresno State and important issues affecting the San Joaquin Valley.
"Ever since Fresno State began the Community Conversations events four years ago, I have valued meeting with hundreds of community members throughout the San Joaquin Valley," said President Castro. "In the upcoming visit to Coalinga, I am looking forward to hearing from those community members, including Bulldog alumni, who live in the western side of the Valley."
Also present will be Fresno State Director of Athletics Terry Tumey and a representative from Fresno State’s Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. WHCC President Brenda Thames and a WHCC student will also speak.
President Thames is excited to welcome Dr. Castro.
“West Hills College Coalinga is very excited to host Fresno State President Joseph Castro and his team for a Community Conversation,” said WHCC President Brenda Thames. “Fresno State is a top transfer destination for many of our students and we value the commitment to strengthening our educational partnership that President Castro continues to demonstrate. We look forward to providing a fun, relaxed, and informative forum for our students, faculty, staff and community members to engage with the Fresno State team.”
