It was a perfect day for an Easter Egg hunt, this year's annual version sponsored once again by the Lemoore Lions Club. The Lemoore Lions Park hosted hundreds of children and their parents as they scrambled after nearly 20,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes at Lions Park Saturday morning.
There were to separate hunts. The younger kids went off at about 9:30 a.m. while older kids, ages 6-9, started their quest about 9:30 a.m. The Lemoore Lions Club also served up hot dogs and treats after the hunt. Included in the eggs were redeemable prizes given out after the event.
