The City of Lemoore is noticing a pair of vacancies on the Lemoore City Council, and city officials are asking that for those interested in applying for a vacant seat in District C or District E, download an application at the city’s website at http://www.lemoore.com/application_for_public_service_appointment.pdf.

Interested applicants in either district are encouraged to submit applications in person to the City Clerk, the City of Lemoore, 711 West Cinnamon Drive, Lemoore, CA 93245 or via email at cityclerk@lemoore.com by 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

If an applicant has any questions, they are asked to please call 924-6744 ext. 705.

Both seat terms expire on Dec. 31, 2020.

District C, previously served by Councilmember Chad Billingsley, encompasses much of south Lemoore from the eastern part of East D Street to south of Iona Avenue. District E, formerly represented by Councilmember Holly Blair, is located primarily north of Hanford Armona Road.

The Lemoore City Council expects to provide a forum for any prospective applicants at its August 6 regular council meeting, and if time allows the Lemoore City Council is expected to select new council members that night.
